Phillip Evans joins the company
Nicholas O’Hara are pleased to announce the arrival of Philip Evans as a new funeral director to work alongside Nicholas, son Anthony and Chris Antell. Philip joined the funeral profession after leaving school and it was actually Nicholas’ father Pat who encouraged Philip to pursue this career after Nicholas had arranged the funeral of Philip’s step-father.
Philip has been working in the Wimborne area now for some 20 years and many local people will already know him through this role and his other love, Wimborne Musical Theatre and the Allendale Centre. This was a large factor in Nicholas asking Philip to join the family business that he has already conducted so many different types of funerals and has a vast knowledge of the local area that we work in and this experience is a vital part to our work.
Philip gained his diploma in funeral directing in 1991 and was thrilled to be offered the chance to join the ever growing family business. Philip’s main roles will be to guide families through the arranging of a funeral and also helping those who wish to pre-arrange their own funeral which has become more frequently asked for and a popular way for people to save the burden of this on their family.
